Meetings and Events
Each year, the Society presents a programme of events that includes speakers, presentations and celebrations of important occasions. These take place in our home at KATE, 86 Khandallah Road. Tours and outdoor activities are scheduled from time to time, and shared events by other historical organizations are publicised. There is an annual Christmas party, and our Annual General Meeting mid-year. Members, families and friends and the public are welcome to attend these events.

Waitangi Day Walk

Our Labour Day walk of historic Ngaio last year was over-subscribed, so we’ve decided to run it again as our Waitangi Day walk this year.

A 2.5km stroll through the streets of Ngaio, visiting historic sites, houses and buildings along the way, ending with an optional lunch at Café Villa, Ottawa Road, Ngaio at approx. 12.30pm
